Implementation
AI Compliance Monitor.
An end-to-end compliance intelligence tool that analyses AI system descriptions and returns a structured risk verdict grounded in Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

The Challenge.
The EU AI Act is in force — but most organizations don't know where they stand. Assessing compliance manually requires deep regulatory expertise, significant time, and often expensive external counsel. For many operators, especially those without dedicated legal teams, the regulation feels inaccessible.

The Solution.
I built an end-to-end compliance intelligence tool that lets any operator describe their AI system across five key dimensions:
- 01Human Oversight — review authority, escalation paths, override mechanisms
- 02Transparency — disclosure of AI involvement in decisions
- 03Appeal & Redress — mechanisms to challenge AI-informed decisions
- 04Data Governance — training data provenance and bias assessment
- 05Risk Management — risk register, review cadence, residual risk ownership
The system classifies each dimension independently, retrieves the relevant EU AI Act articles, and generates concrete remediation actions grounded in specific legal obligations. The result is a structured compliance report — not just a risk label, but a clear path forward.

The Result.
What used to require hours of legal research — or an external consultant — now takes minutes. Teams get a clear starting point for compliance decisions, without needing deep regulatory expertise. The human stays in control; the tool removes the barrier to getting started.
